H. Dixon Taylor, D.D.S., M.S.D.
Dr. Taylor has been providing his patients with the highest level of orthodontic care for more than 20 years. Highly educated, he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in April 1979 from Brigham Young University. He then obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Medical College of Virginia in May 1983. Dr. Taylor went on to receive a Master of Science in Orthodontics in June 1985 from the University of Tennessee, and completed an extensive orthodontic specialty residency there as well.
To stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in orthodontics, Dr. Taylor maintains memberships in many professional organizations. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics, American Dental Association and the Contra Costa Dental Society. He is also a past president of the Contra Costa Dental Society.
Throughout his career, Dr. Taylor has accomplished much to be proud of. He has become an eligible Board Certified Orthodontist and has had his articles published in the American Journal of Orthodontics.
In his spare time, Dr. Taylor loves outdoor activities, including motorcycling, wakeboarding and snowboarding. To give back to his local community, he volunteers and works with the local Boy Scout Troop, church organizations and the local dental society.
Dr. Taylor is married with four daughters and six grandchildren. He thoroughly enjoys spending time with his family.
